Stuart Magrath is the director of AMP Direct, a new business unit at AMP, a leading wealth management company operating in Australia and New Zealand, with selective investment management activities in Asia (through AMP Capital Investors) and a growing banking business in Australia.
Stuart is responsible for AMP's direct channel, utilizing an in-house outbound telephone direct sales team, a telephone based retention team, as well as driving sales through digital and DM channels.
Stuart's key focus is in providing compelling customer experiences for customers who choose to deal with AMP directly rather than through intermediaries and hence driving revenues for AMP. With aggressive sales targets for investment and personal insurance products, Stuart is an advocate of using technology to streamline the customer experience and ensure the direct sales consultants are as effective as possible, with an ability to view customer interactions from a multi-channel perspective.
With a career spanning publishing, digital design, offer design, and now direct distribution, across both financial services and telecommunications, Stuart is well versed in designing compelling customer experiences. Now he also has the opportunity to see these experiences convert directly into sales revenues.
