    This is something that would really benefit our implementation. This is a status flow that existed in our previous scheduling solution, one that we can not do without, as a temp work around, we are applying a custom property which is set when the engineer triggers  ACPT user status in SAP. This allows us to keep a 121 status relationship with SAP.

    I’ve raised a request in idea labs which is a requirement to have a visual display in gantt view. I believe this is a similar request, that idea above could be extended further to include a field in list view which is data which can be passed through integration if it already exists in your master data system. Please view and like it if you see benefit to your requirement.

    Hi Zsolt,

    Thankyou for your prompt review of our issue. I should also add that we aren't using the OFS mobility module. A decision which has multiple implications.

    Using our mobile solution and strategic business rules, certain engineer types need to be able to pick up work out of sequence, and have this functionality available to them on their mobile device. The mobile solution was designed for a previous Scheduling solution and we now, where possible need to replicate certain functionality in OFS, or at least provide a solution to the specific requirements.

    By this do you mean a work pattern (shifts) for a resource. Such as

    Resource A -

    • Monday 08:00 to 16:00
    • Tuesday 10:00 to 18:00
    • Wednesday 08:00 to 16:00
    • Thursday 12:00 to 20:00
    • Friday 08:00 to 16:00

    If that is the case you can set these work schedules through API and master the data in your HR system.

    We are just going through an implementation of OFS now. We have resources that work standard shifts for example 08:00 to 16:00 then 1 team resource will cover an additional shift "Optional Hours" from 16:00 to 08:00 (a standby shift). This is managed through integration from our HR system to send 2 shifts through for an individual on the same day.

    In OFS you can create 2 shifts for an engineer on the same day as long as one of the shifts is "On Call". It can not overlap with the previous shift time. Hence why your original 09:00 to 18:00 shift is being removed.

    You can not put 2 shifts on the engineer for normal working time on the same day, if that is required I would implement the same way as Zsolt has suggested above, by having 1 shift which covers 09:00 - 18:00 and apply an internal activity (break) between 12:00 and 15:00
