    Hi All,

    I have a Order Table that is Custom now i want to design an order page by which customer can add order . now problem is if i add the order fields on my page that are custom and throw an exception that can not use standard widget with custom one's. please guide me what the solution for this?

      Hi Muhammad,

      As the error says, this widget does not support to use a custom object directly. Only fields from a custom object that are related to the Contact, Incident or Answer object are supported. You should completely customize this if you want to do what you describe.

      Hi Muhammad,

      I think it goes to deep to explain how to customize a widget and what steps to take. Please look in the documentation to the development area about how to customize widgets or creating your own widgets. You should be familiar with that to start well.

      It also depends a little on your usecase. I take it that you want to create an incident after submitting the form? If that is the case perhaps make a join of your custom table with the Incident table, that way I think you can put in the custom object field in the standard widget. Not sure, try it. You should always first think about where the data should go to and where it should be stored. If stored in an incident, then your object should somehow be related to it.

      One more qustion is on my dashboard all orders are showing . i want when i click on any product on report the incident page should open and i can create incident of that order can u guide me please ??

      Yes, it's something that can be set by adding a url to your report. Read the analytics documentation for adding URL's to your report.
