That usually happen after many posts within a certain time. Should be ok tomorrow again :-)

Edit: I just looked at your profile but it seems like you have not made that many comments/posts today. Should the error persist then I would reach out to Erica

Sebastiaan- Actually, I was talking to a fellow member of the community through message and helping him in his issue, suddenly I was not able to reply. Let us wait till tomorrow, I will update the thread.

      Thanks,

      Dev

Yeah, that will be the cause then. I have had this also a few times (their anti spam setting). I believe it kicks in at around 20 posts.

Thanks Sebastiaan. I Understood the case. However, let me prove that I am not spamming, give me some captcha to enter cheeky .  Why "reCAPTCHA V1 IS SHUTDOWN"?

    • Sebastiaan

Good question, seems like a bug. I have in the past been able to enter the captcha.

I have faced this a couple of times. Same issue, no captcha. If it is possible, can someone check this for my profile?

reCaptcha v1 has been deprecated for v2, and Oracle probably hasn't updated the community site to use v2, that's why you see that error.

You can contact Erica for any community related questions, she can definitely help you out.

      Guys,

Thank you so much for bringing this to my attention. It does appear to be a defect, so I went ahead and submitted a SR for this and referenced your helpful detail here in this thread. I have also increased the CAPTCHA threshold for posts and comments in the meantime, so you won't run into the CAPTCHA requirement as quickly.

Thanks again for bringing this up and for helping so many other people every. single. day. :)

      Best,

      Erica, Oracle
