    Title:
    Remove Duplicate Records from Report
    Content:

    Hello,

I have a custom report which contains some duplicated Incidents (IDs and lookupName)  because of the resolution time (screenshot attached)

how can I show only one of the duplicated incidents?

    Regards

you can try removing the date closed and sum() the resolution time formula.

The reason you are seeing this is because you have a table with a one to many relationship to the incident table displaying results. Depending on what you are trying to accomplish, you may need the duplicates to show the correct data set. I don't believe your results listed actually show duplicates, however the resolution time and date closed as well as interval type will indeed cause the incident to display multiple times because each incident can have several values depending the situation.

Before you move forward, try and understand what it is you are really trying to display. If you need the multiple values, then a roll up or linked / drilldown report may be required to display the results effectively. If you can filter any information out, do that. If at the end you have everything you need, but are still seeing the duplicates, you may look at adding a count column of the incidents.i_id field and then hide it. This however may cause a non-desired display of results if you haven't addressed the above questions.

      Good Luck!
