    Title:
Not showing Add-in at workspace level
    Content:

    Hi All,

I cant use and see any add-ins in my system (under workspace while editing and using),If I login in another system I can able to see and use the add-in. I am in admin profile only.

Password  remember functionality is not working (while logging in console).

Can anyone tell why this issue is happening?

    Thanks

You should be more clear on your issue. Is it about an addin or remembering your password ?‚Äč

      Hi Dietrik,

      I am facing both issues.

      Thanks,

I agree with Dietrik; you should include more information to describe your system(s) and the problem in question.  Simply stating that "password remember functionality isn't working" doesn't provide much clarity as to what isn't working; i.e., is the UI not there, have you cleared your cache, are you switching between systems (where the password would not be remembered between them anyway)?

Have you disabled add-ins when logging in to the problematic system?  This will happen if the application closes improperly, and then you click "yes" when the application loads the next time and asks you if you want to shut down your add-ins.

Are you loading the add-ins locally in developer mode, not from the server, on the system that is working?

Have you tried deleting the site's cache folder from your AppData\Roaming directory to attempt to reload the add-ins the next time that you login to OSvC?

      Hi All,

Issue 1). when I give user name and password and try to login in console (see screenshot) it does not store the username and password (in my system locally),

Issue 2). in the work space level it doesn't show the add-ins (editing and as a record), this issue is happen randomly.

Add-ins are running in developer mode.

Note: I have deleted the site cache from the AppData\Roaming location.

      Thanks,

      S.Saravanan

      1) This is not a developer issue but a setting. You'd better post this to the right forum using a separate post.

      2) You're still not giving much information. Usually issues are not random. Try to find some differences between the times when it's working or not.

if you're loading your add-ins in developer mode, and the add-ins have not been saved to the add-in manager yet, then the add-ins will only exist on the PC on which you built the add-ins.  They would not be available on other computers until you load them in production mode (add-ins are downloaded from the cloud and loaded in production mode instead of your RightNowDev folder).

When they "go away", do you see them loaded in the console in your add-in logs?  Meaning, does the console register the add-ins and they simply do not display?  Do you get errors in the add-in error logs (the in session logs) when your issue occurs?  If yes, does that provide any information.

Did you build the add-ins?  Can you attach your Visual Studio debugger to OSvC and see if you might have any logs captured in the console output?

There's no way to tell what's going on with your system without detailed information about your environment including the questions that I asked above, what version of OSvC that you are using, the reproducible circumstances that make the add-ins not display, etc.
