    Move records from one content type to another
    User Story / Description:

    As a content author I would like to be able to move content from one type to another so that as our content model changes records are in the correct content types.  My expectation would be, because content types and their available products/categories do not match, that I would have to go through a mapping page OR even just give me a side by side screen like translation that I could use to copy and paste from one type to the other.

    User Story / Description:

    As an Authoring user I expect that there be some clear indication that my click has been received so that I do not click again.  For example, if I change some content type configuration and click Save there is no way to know whether or not my click has been received until it leaves the edit screen and returns to the list of content types.  If the application is running slowly, this can be ample time for me to click hundreds of times, unsure of whether or not anything is occurring.  An indicator near the cursor, similar to Engagement Cloud, would be sufficient.

    Currently no spell check available for Australian locale when creating an article in KA. 

    As this is an authoring tool I would like to have spell checking available for Australian locale when creating a new Knowledge article. Please add English UK dictionary to the Australian locale.

    “Print” (Clean version in specific) function should be considered as a very useful enhancement to Agent Desktop/Knowledge Advanced on any versions of the articles (or in my use case - policies). The users often need to generate PDF version of the articles and share with the regulators or for internal circulation. We really hope that this enhancement will be included in future releases of the product to improve its usability in the financial services industry. Currently you can't even find a print button to print any published or unpublished articles in Knowledge Advanced/Agent Desktop which is very surprising for a product demanding  such high license fee. In many other content management platforms, this is often a default/standard functionality.

    User Story / Description:

    Bulk export function (to PDF or word) for the selected articles(policies) would be an important function that authors in my organisation (financial services) need to do very frequently to meet certain regulatory requirements. Currently there isn't any export function or PDF generation function in Agent Desktop/knowledge Advanced which is limiting the usability in this area.

    as an agent or administrator, having an ability to customize knowledge toolbar (KA) in agent desktop to include additional views or tabs with custom queries or reports would be helpful to look up content easily. currently, recommended answers requires agents to intelligently search or refine the search by typing various keywords or phrases to get to an answer they are looking for which is inefficient and adds effort and handling time so if we can configure it based on each organizations unique requirements makes it easy to present content to agents.

    we should be able to tie the custom views either to their profiles or groups so that agent working in different departments would only see views/tabs appropriate to them.

    User Story / Description:

    as a knowledge administrator, a bulk import functionality in Knowledge Advanced Authoring, similar to KF (Data import), would be helpful to migrate content from external sources into Oracle.

    In addition, we also need to preserve the source formatting of data after import to eliminate the manual work for IT teams to apply HTML changes after the content is created in KA. example, if the source system has article embedded with images or hyperlinks or text formatting and when we import such content to KA they should work seamlessly. Or, at least should have an option in KA to create templates to create specific styles and apply it to articles using bulk edit. otherwise, it requires lot of manual effort to edit each article and it is cumbersome.

    Hi,

      Actually I came across with an issue where in I wanted to see the Ratings comments given by end user from Analytics Reports but unfortunately I can only be able to see Ratings from 1 to 5 but not the comments.

    After raising an SR , Got to know that Comments is not being exposed , that is only for internal purpose yet.

    Hence Posting this in Idea Lab So that Oracle Product Development team consider this to expose the comments as well.

    Today the non published article's are not shown in the reporting. 

    We link  to see ALL article's availible in the okcs_answers table so we are able to create report that shown ALL article's and have a filter on published og non published.

     

    Just like in the KF where private answers are also available in the reporting.
